The foundation supports a range of artistic and cultural philanthropic ventures. The Jean-François and Marie-Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre Foundation has been an active supporter of “Friends of the Fine Arts” in Paris which supports the activities one of the oldest institutions in Paris, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
Among the foundation’s many activities, it also annually supports one or more artistic or cultural projects for which it provides all or part of the financing.
As well as supporting a variety of cultural and artistic projects, the foundation funds a scholarship program that provides young people with education at schools and universities in France, the United Kingdom and India.
The foundation also offers training and education to young people from developing countries to help them enter French higher education establishments. The training they receive can then be applied in their home countries.
